What's Home Advantage?

Playing home and away is a very different experience for teams. Most are more comfortable when playing in front of their own fans, and in some leagues the away trips involve a lot longer travel time than you might expect. Teams situated in large countries, like Russia or America, will be travelling a day before and after their game. This can effect the players, whilst the home team has a short journey and undisrupted preparation for the match. Teams in low-funded leagues, like Ghana, Lithuania and Thailand will not have the luxury of jetting away on a private jet to their fixtures. They must make their own way there, like the rest of the public.
