Vad är Home Advantage/Hemmafördel?
Att spela hemma och borta är mycket olika erfarenheter för lag. De flesta är bekvämare när de spelar inför sina egna fans, och i vissa ligor innebär bortaturerna mycket längre restid än du kan förvänta dig. Lag i stora länder, som Ryssland eller Amerika, reser en dag före och efter sitt spel. Detta kan påverka spelarna medan hemmalaget har en kort resa och oavbruten förberedelse inför matchen. Lag i lågfinansierade ligor, som Ghana, Litauen och Thailand kommer inte att ha lyxen att flyga iväg på en privat jet till sina matcher. De måste ta sig dit, precis som resten av allmänheten.
