Understanding The Match Feed on FootyStats
The first page you’ll see when you visit FootyStats is the match feed. This is where you can easily view all of the matches that are taking place for any given day. By default, it’s set to today.
The feed is broken up by nation and then by individual leagues that are taking place in that country. To the left of the feed, you will see a set of controls that will allow you to change the stats that appear alongside all matches.
If you have a league that you love, you can hit the star icon to save this league to your favourites list. When viewing the match feed, these leagues will always show up first whenever there is matches.
Points Per Game (PPG)
The numbers you see next to the team names are called PPG boxes, or form boxes. Whatever is easier for you to remember. PPG stands for the points a team has picked up on average across a season, with the maximum being 3.00. So in this example, Leeds has picked up 2.08 points per game (at home) whilst Derby has picked up 1.54 points per game. 2.08 is very good It’s important to note that these form boxes are calculated based on home form or away form, depending on where the team is playing.
Odds
After you have glanced at the PPG for each team, the odds list will give you a quick indication on value for either team winning the game. For extended odds and markets, like BTTS or Over/Under, you can look on the H2H page.
Stats
The stats column of the match feed is where will give you the ability to make it your own, through smart filters and toggles. If you’re on desktop, simply toggle the stats you would like to see and the feed will refresh. Again, each stat is colour coded for your convenience.
The stats you can show on the match feed include:
- +1.5 Goals Percentage
- +2.5 Goals Percentage
- +3.5 Goals Percentage
- +4.5 Goals Percentage
- -1.5 Goals Percentage
- -2.5 Goals Percentage
- -3.5 Goals Percentage
- -4.5 Goals Percentage
- FH Goals +0.5 Percentage
- FH Goals +1.5 Percentage
- AVG BTTS Percentage
- AVG Total Goals
- AVG Cards
- AVG Corners
- Over 8.5 Corners
- Over 9.5 Corners
- Over 10.5 Corners

Ordering Matches
The order of games can also be customised quite easily. Initially, the feed is organised by leagues and the popularity rankings we give to our 300+ competitions.
You can also sort games by time. This is useful if you’re planning your day of bets, or just want to check what games are on this evening or this morning.
Finally, we have the in-play match feed. This filter will show you all of the games that are currently underway.
