We’re happy to announce that we’ve added German 3. Liga to FootyStats! If you want to know which of your favourite 3. Liga teams are in danger of being relegated now you can(It’s SV Wehen Wiesbaden, FSV Zwickau, and FSV Mainz 05 II)! Anyway, here are some stats on 3. Liga that you might find interesting.

Best Overall Performance
Currently, MSV Duisburg stands at the top of the table with 35 points. Interestingly, runner-up 1. FC Magdeburg has more wins and more goals scored. If Magdeburg can fix their defence they may have a good title challenge on their hands.

Clean Sheets & Best Defence
Again, MSV Duisburg sits on top of the table and has conceded the least amount of goals. They've conceded only 11 goals and kept a 58% Clean Sheets ratio across 19 matches, both of which are the best in the league. If you are looking at Clean Sheets or low scoring games, MSV Duisberg is probably the team to go.

Both Teams Scored
3 teams are tied at the top of BTTS table. FC Hansa Rostock, FSV Frankfurt, and SSV Jahn 2000 Regensburg all share a 58% BTTS ratio. With all teams sitting in the middle of the league table, they all have a good chance of maintaining their BTTS ratios in the future.

Failed to Score
SC Paderborn 07 are awful at scoring. With a FTS percentage of 47%(60% at away games), it doesn’t look promising. It is the same story for SV Werder Bremen II.

Prediction Risk
Right now, FC Hansa Rostock and MSV Duisburg are the most consistent when it comes to scoring. If you want to avoid the more unpredictable teams avoid: FSV Zwickau, Cheminitzer FC, SG Sonnenhof Großaspach, and SC Paderborn 07 as they are the most inconsistent teams in the league in terms of scoring.

Those are the stats as they are now, however the best way to keep up to date with 3. Liga is to check the page for yourself!
